HOW IT ALL STARTED
Nuno Teixeira is the owner and Chef of Nuno’s Café. He has worked in the restaurant industry since he arrived from Portugal as a teenager. After 19 years of learning the ins and outs of the business, he decided to open his own Café. Nuno dreamed of a place where he could combine all of this knowledge and experience into his own creation. In 2009 he opened his first place in New Jersey. After 7 years they decided no more cold winters so they packed up their family, moved to the sunshine state and Nuno’s Cafe was born.
Nuno prides himself on offering high quality homemade food, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. “ Everything about the meal is important, from coffee on the table as soon as you sit down to your eggs coming over easy…This is what I love to do – I wouldn’t want to wake up every day doing anything else.”
